It's an interesting meditation isn't it? Enoch is the 7th man, or completed man, and yet not complete without Jesus Christ for necessity of a new day of manifest immortality, not again starting at day one however, but in continuation by another day eternal.
The 8th day wonder in new creation, leaving off from the 7th day completion of mortality, and beginning again by continuation through the resurrected flesh of Jesus presently alone in the manifestation and continuation of His body immortal.
Enoch and Elijah abiding still as ever they have among that great cloud of witnesses the souls of just men made perfect which presently encourage and beckon the rest of us who believe as depicted and witnessed by Paul the Apostle in Hebrews 12:22,23.
Enoch is also an example of the first "completed" man (by fellowship with the Holy Spirit) that shall be of the last to receive the body immortal, the actual body of our immortality as ever intentioned by God from the beginning, which is reserved for all the rest through the power of Christ to raise all, for all will give an account and receive the judgement face to face with God the Father and Jesus Christ His only begotten and ever beloved Son, in the physical body of new creation in immortality. 1 Cor 15:22
When all of 7th day mortality is swallowed up by 8th day of new creation immortality at the change of "completed" humanity (in fellowship with His Holy Spirit 1 Cor 15:52) and resurrection of the rest.
Then that saying that was recorded will have it's full realization, death where is your sting, and grave where is your victory, it was only temporarily so, by the patience of the resurrected King on His Throne until He steps back into the environment of the world to finish His awesome expectation and work of salvation.
